So the one I've got sounds good at low volume, but I want one I can get loud with if needed. I'm hunting a couple spots that I'll prob have to call deer into range once they appear and might need to get loud to do it.

What call are you using? Do you like it? If so.........why specifically?

I really like the mad hypergrowl! I got it and had to play around with it awhile because its a little different then any other grunt call I've used.

flextone is just really easy to manipulate and make unique grunts with the movement of your hand on the soft endpiece. I like the extinguisher because you can change from fawn to mature buck and everything in between just by sliding that little do-hickey on the side.

Glad to hear a couple of you say that you like Flextone...I just ordered a new one to replace my worn-out HS Tru-Talker I've had for years. I was hoping it was a good one.

Still using a True-Talker here as well. Although I'm pretty sure you could fart at a buck and if he's in the right mood he'll come in.

For you True-Talker guys........can you get real loud without locking up the reed?

I've got an EZ Grunter Extreme right now. It sounds good but locks up when I get loud enough for something to hear me more than 50 yards away.....

The Estinguisher is boss. It has extremely realistic sound, and you can easily make the sounds you are wanting.

I have a MAD call that has been very good to me over the years but someone gave me an extinguisher call last year and I am going to give that a shot this year!

I use the Flex Tone, very easy call to use and it's a rubber material so you can bump it against anything with out it making a unnatural noise. It also has several calls in one, a dominant buck grunt, young buck, doe and fawn along with a snort wheeze. It's decently loud so you can draw deer in from a good range.

Primos Buck Roar - the buck in my area really respond well to it. I've called in more bucks with it then I can remember. I've got a second one hanging on the wall just as a backup.

If you are looking for volume, the Primos buck roar is had to beat. You can get some serious volume out of it.

The Tru Talker is not a call for long distance or windy days.

I really like my flextone buck collector....its not so great for fawn and doe but i really like the buck grunts and snort wheeze. You can get loud or soft with it and really manipulate the sound with the soft end.

I bought an Illusion Extinguisher call this year and I am really liking the flexibility of it. Waiting to try it out this year! I have a Primos Buck Roar that I have used for a few years now. I love the Snort Wheeze chamber on it. I have called in a couple of bucks with it.

Primos buck roar! I love the band feature that allows you to still hold your bow while using the call. The volume is great and has been very successful for me. Good luck.
