Seen a video on youtube and thought I'd try dipping a skull with an old dead head I had laying around I found years back while shed hunting. Thought I would share as it turned out pretty cool. I plan on doing some more skulls I got laying around once I got more time with different colors. I already posted this on my team forum but thought I'd share with the rest of the forum.

Doesn't look bad actually. Personal preference is all that matters.

I may try that too. I can't say I'm a fan of that color scheme, it looks a little raw at first impression  but it would look awesome in camo tones.

I tried another in camo but it didn't turn out as nice. Just as a tip if you do try, be easy with the dark colors in camo (brown, black, dark green) as they over power the lighter colors and then you cant see any of the pattern of the paint.

Thanks! I think if that red was replaced by green or a green and a brown, it would be just about right, I like the silver color. That red just makes me think of a skinned deer skull, lol. The effect is pretty awesome though.

I would never have guessed that I would like it. But that really is cool. I have a bunch of skulls laying around and may have to give that a try. You did a great job.

Honestly when I first saw the pic I thought it was a stripped skull until I looked closer :) .

    Nice work man.
