yep. i've said for years antlers are done about Aug5th or so. have had many argue the point though. some think they are still growing if there is velvet
I have one that every year he grows til about the 15th. don't know why but he even sheds his velvet a little later. I think his internal clock is screwed up. agree about the 5th. they need time to have the velvet dry out.
