Hey friends, I would like to make a trophy out of a whitetail I acquired, but couldn't find anything yet. The taxidermy could be a stuffed animal or a carved artwork. Any suggestions?
I would love to help but I need some more information first. 1. Was this whitetail caught in a river or lake? If river, you should definitely have it carved in river rock. That would look great If lake, I would have it mounted as if it were floating on its back soaking up the sun 2. What did you use to catch the whitetail? 3. Did you only catch this one or did you catch your limit for the day?
I got some, but this was the "best", which didn't have much apparent damage. I could have it done either way.
Do you like cats? Because I do. And beans. Most folks here know that. But, you are new. Were you using a Don Weddle lure when you catched it? Want to pet my unicorn?
Forums get a lot of trolls strolling through, whenever a new member signs up and posts something that uses odd phrasing, most assume it's from a person with no actual association with the sport of hunting and is just heading for some kind of stunt to cause problems intentionally. A good way to separate yourself from those sorts of trolls is to, like in this case, post pics of your deer and a short story about how you acquired it and an introductory thread is always a good idea. If you want advice on options for dealing with a trophy, maybe explain your goals, etc...
Wait now it is a deer?? What happened to the bear you poached last week..... Stop spamming our forums!!!! I PM'd Fitz, hopefully he will remove her/him from the forum promptly. Took her/him little time to get banned on Bowsite.
Huh? DId you think I meant you guys were trolls? Wrong context...I meant a lot of new member trolls doing things similar to the OP'er.
