For the first time in my adult life I decided to buy some nice hunting clothing after using walmart shelf stuff for years. Went to my local shop and spent nearly $600 on Under Armour soft shell, fleese and base layers. Loved the stuff. Well I had it in a tote in my jeep (unlocked like a fool) and parked at a local park then proceded to walk to the hospital for a quick exam and bloodwork. Came back and guess what.....my entire tote of new clothing is gone. No cameras around, already checked with the township. I can go back to using my old walmart gear, thats not the issue. I just hate people that take ANYTHING that isnt theirs. I cant afford to replace this stuff (without a divorce anyways hahaha) I just pray the lord finds who did this and turns their life around for the better.

Ugh. So sorry to hear this happened to you...........

Has happened to me twice. First time they got binocs, rangefinder, GPS, and a digital camera. Second time they got binocs, rangefinder, LED headlamp, and left a burning Newport butt on the drivers seat so I had a nice quarter sized hole in it. Now I lock the truck.

Keep an eye out on Craigslist and eBay. It may show up on there. If you marked it and can meet the person to make the transaction take the police with you.

Sucks bug time! So sorry to hear it brother! I had a GoPro taken not that ling ago. My buddy had one of the worse. About a year and a half ago, he had most of his hunting stuff (stands, clothes, etc) taken, but worse was he has both of his bucks out drying for a euro mount, and they got both of them. I still look on craigslist every month or so hoping to find them. Then 2 months ago his house was broken into, all of his hunting stuff again taken including guns this time. Guy has the worse luck sometimes. Thief's are so horrible. Cant stand them!

A feel your pain. Been there with about 8 stands and 10 - 12 cameras over the last 3-4 years. Mad and frustrated at the same time and no one to take it out on.

That sucks man. Since it was taken out of your vehicle, you might be able to use your auto insurance to cover it. Not sure but I think some do cover theft out of the vehicle.

That's a real bummer, sorry to read that man.

I never used to lock my vehicles until about 20 years ago. Somebody broke into my 1982 Ford Escort (yes Escort lol) and stole the OEM radio out of it. Crazy. Ever since then I lock my car all the time, even at the gas station if I have to run inside for something. Last year a friend ran into Sheetz to get a drink and came back to find his GPS and cell phone gone. He was inside a matter of minutes. I don't trust anybody these days.

    Robert Packer Hospital?
How far away was the park? That hospital has video cameras all around it. If the park isn't too far away, maybe the theft got recorded. Bas*ards anyway!

I feel for ya brother. Same thing happened to me a few years ago except the thieves came right onto my front porch where I had my clothes hanging to air them out. Talk about nerve. Anyway, as has been suggested, keep an eye on craigslist and the local want ads, the thief may just try to sell them.

    Blessings.........Pastorjim

Sorry to hear about those losses, but all I can say after reading this (I had to read it twice) is you really need to change the way you're doing things. I'd be beside myself with those losses, both mentally and monetarily!

I read waaay too many reports of cams being stolen. I'm not saying it's not going to happen to me, but in about 12 years of setting 2 cams each season on State Land, I've yet to have one stolen. I've even had a couple pics of other hunters. The area/location of the cam is most important to me because I'm on public land. I just try to locate them where "most" people have no reason to go/be, except the rare "other hunter". I don't even bother locking them, because if somebody wants it badly enough they will get it either way.

    I CAN'T STAND THIEVES!!!

That's awful i really feel for you. Nothing worse than a thief. I remember when I was in elementary I asked my dad to take his hunting binos to school for show and tell, but he originally said no because they were a high-end pair and he didn't want anything to happen to them. Well he snuck them in my bag before I went to school as a surprise and never told me and when I got home he asked how the class liked them and I was clueless to what he was talking about. Needless to say my dad was livid and called the school, but we never found out what happened to them (Most likely taken from my bag because we left our bags in racks in the hallway). Crazy that we can't trust people anywhere now.

Hey good guess!!! Yes it was the RPH. Park is about 100 yards away. I checked with the local pd and they were unable to find anything on video to use.
