Wow those are some great pics man. I hope they stick around for a while! I got my buck opening day and there were 3 other shooters better than him in immediate area. After the first day, they've almost turned into ghosts. Haven't seen em in almost a week.
Thanks. Ours will mostly stick around okay being private property and very low pressure. The biggest problem is getting them in front of you in shooting light or not booting them going into a stand just because of the sheer deer density. As many buck pics as I have, I have more doe and fawn pics and they may be out where ever/when ever.
I hear ya on blowing them out getting in. Out here we pretty much hunt water sources. A good one is 25 yards from our tree stand where I shot my buck last weekend. I think I said 3 Hail Mary's and 5 Our Father's walking in that morning! Must have worked because they weren't there. I needed a little luck on my side that morning and it worked!
There ought to be a law about how many big bucks you can have on a property! Save some for the rest of us Covey! #7 is an absolute stud and beautiful picture!
Lol, it's tempting but the feeders are a no go for hunting over. They're set in sanctuaries around over the properties so we're not so tempted to hunt over or even very nearby. I had to move several of my ladder stands when we established the sanctuaries last year. He is, we share pics with he and his crew from time to time. Plan on inviting them up to hunt for a show one of these years, maybe next year based on how the program is progressing. They wanted to do it last year but we didn't feel like we had enough mature bucks running around in the second year of management to afford a couple leaving the ranch and they have plenty of places to shoot does.
Wow, that is an extremely good collection of bucks there. I like some of the racks that go straight up off the head. They are pretty cool looking.
I envy you sir! Thanks for sharing both your pics and knowledge. I always learn so much from you! I could only dream of having a setup half as nice as yours!!!
Meh... Amazing pictures and an amazing program that seems to be working great. Keep up the excellent work!
