I've shot traditional bows all my life and always shot both eyes open for instinctive shooting. I also have shot rifles all my life with both open sights and scopes and I've just always done better with my left eye shut or well squinted. I always shot my compound with sights and like my rifle but I've just recently went to both eyes open and am more comfortable and consistent with it. When I pick a spot like shooting traditional then draw and I don't loose the spot when I find the peep, seems I just naturally feel a consistent grip easier, and I see the arrow flight much better. Am very pleased with this!

Same experience here Drawdown. Being 'old school' and military always closed one eye to 'focus'. Since picking up archery... I shoot both eyes open and find it much easier as you do.
