In 1 week I will be headed out to chase Pronghorns in Nebraska for the 3rd time! This will be a short trip but hopefully we can have some great spot and stalk action. And then the following Tuesday my deer season starts (Sep 1st) I hope to get out a few times for that before heading to Colorado on the 9th for my first ever Elk hunt!! I have 2 hitlist bucks already in NE which is quite a few for me, both are nice 4yo deer, hopefully I will be able to have a crack at one of them this year. My Elk hunt is planned to last 8 days in northern CO. I've been doing a lot to prepare for this trip and hopefully it pays off. I also have a bear tag for out there so you never know what will happen. Last year I was able to harvest 2 does and 1 big buck while self filming, and this spring I got my first every self filmed turkey hunt recorded, I'm going to try to get as much footage as I can but if an Antelope or Elk gives me a shot not on film no way I'm passing that up. I'm getting pumped I"m going to be crazy busy for a while with all these adventures plus school and work but it should be fun. And when all of these things are done with I get to hop in a whitetail stand!! Last year was by far my best hunting season so far, I can't wait to see what the rest of the 2015 hunting season has in store!
