I have two standard sit and climbs. I am only 190 pounds and fit in the standard pretty well. My question is will the wide be that much more comfortable than the standard? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I own the regular one, and have a buddy that has the wide. I've used both, and prefer the regular one just based on weight savings. Usually when I'm using this stand I'm hiking long ways. Mine is plenty comfortable for all day sits. I'm 6' and could afford to lose 20-30lbs and I'm still very comfortable in it.
OK that's helpful thanks. So based on what you're saying his is no more comfortable than yours? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Maybe? But at my size it's really pretty close and I'd rather have the weight savings over the extra inch or two of room. If I was 300lbs, it would likely be a different story though.
That is kind of where I have been in the past. I want to save weight Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Here's the seat I switched to and it is very comfy. It is called a Slumper. It is the equivalent of the bottom piece of the summit seat but does not have a back and the standstill packs flat. The good thing is it let you lean back a little and gives you a tad bit more comfort Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I know this is an old thread but I am going to answer my own question. The wide sit and climb is way more comfortable than the standard. You have room to move and you can lean back like being in a Summit. It also packs flat. If you are buying a sit and climb do yourself a favor and buy the wide.
