I am planning on planting a small 1/4 acre turnip plot in an area a cleared in the woods. I have it ready to be planted. It is going to rain tomorrow. 80% chance but it wont rain for at least another week after that. Should I plant it tonight or wait until later in sept when its going to rain a few days in row?
Definitely get it in. We planted some 2 weeks ago on a Sunday. It started breaking ground on the following Wednesday. Ground temp is great right now to get things growing in a hurry.
LOL I was looking at the 15 day weather today and see he same problem here in VA. I do not have any vacation that would not be taking hunting days off the calender so I will wait hopefully it will work out
I'm in the same spot. Was hoping to get home in time yesterday to seed, but didn't and it rained all night. No rain in sight.
