Checking in. Good to see you again Ruger. I'll be deer and elk hunting Idaho in less than a month. I'm super pumped. I've also got a couple decent bucks on cam that I have some history with. I'm ready to drop the hammer on something!

Hey Jake last time we were on a team together you had a different handle. I think we've got a good shot this year. I'm good for at least 50 and hopefully 135 more!

I did have a different username, but this one is easier to type in, so I like it better. I know I'll be good for at least 50 points, but I'm not gonna make any promises on the bucks. I've got some different mature bucks to hunt, but some don't score much. I'm not worried about their score though cause they are getting shot if they walk by.

And BTW, that was a great buck you shot last year. Hopefully you can bring some of that luck to the rest of us!

Yeah we will see, life is a little different for me this year. I hope to see that old 8 you have running around hit the ground this year. What's his name "Mr. Clean"?

Yeah thats him. I feel really good about my chances with him. I know him very well and if last year is any indicator then I have stands on each side of his bedroom and feel like I can get it done the last week of October. Here's to wishful thinking anyways.

How have you been Hank? It's good to see some familiar faces on this team. I don't have much of a jump on you. I just got food plots finished a few days ago and cameras put back up. It was killing me all summer not having cams up because of the flooding. And I still don't have all of them up yet. I've got 9 cameras and only 5 are up right now. I've got to hang the rest this Friday.

Its a lot of fun. And don't feel pressure to kill deer just to get points. Hunt how you normally would if you weren't on a team. I know personally I'm not going to shoot a deer just for points if it doesn't meet my own standards.

I should be good for 50 points anyway, I got some good bucks on trail cam atleast for Tennessee anyway, also hunt West Kentucky quite a bit, so we will see if I cant close the deal.

Where about do you hunt in west Kentucky? I'm about 20 minutes from Kentucky.

I'm here. I have not stepped foot on my lease since turkey season. Not running cams this year. So I'm going in blind, I know there are deer there and I usually have several chances at does. I'm looking to tag a buck this year, have been skunked the last 2 years, so my standards may be lower this year the the previous two yea. I was holding out last year for a big 12 and a big 10 that I had on cam. Just never could be in the right place at the right time......

Obion Creek WMA in Fulton Co. 20 mins from my house, I got lots of places I hunt In Tennessee, but my main farm is a 1000 acre lease that I have had for over 15 years, good hunting up to Duck season. It also gets leased out to Duck hunters.
