Still hot and nasty here in flat Kansas. Putting out trail cams this weekend to start up the wishlist. Lanes are cut, stands are hung...just need to get through the last of the dog days and its on! Bowhunter448 checking in. My name is Tim and I'm chasing mule deer out here in Nevada. Season opened this last Monday and I was out all weekend. I'll post some pics from the hunt and some details once I get to my computer a little bit later.

So I was out for opening weekend this last weekend and had numerous encounters with bucks including a miss at 32 yards. I'm waiting to hear from my brother in law, Marshall, to see what next weekend holds. When's everyone's seasons? Mine started on the 10th and runs through September 10. Ours here in Wisconsin start September 12 and go to Jan 3 I normally hang it up beginning of Dec as the holiday takes over my life for the entire month of December. I'm going to try and hunt longer this year as we have some late season food plots planted that should be great if I haven't got my buck by then. I did get lucky and was able to purchase a bonus antler less tag this morning. So I have a chance to whack a Doe at the cabin where I usually hunt and down at home as well.
