Looks like I'm going to have to see if I can still pick up a second tag. I wanna get some meat for the freezer. Then hold out for the monster. To bad a monster on Southern California public land is a 6x6. I'll do my best for you guys. Does it count if I duct tape some sheds to em? After all I am at a geographical disadvantage. It's been a extremely dry few years. Not much food for deer to eat. Hahaha
I'll share a little about myself... I'm 23 and recently graduated from the University of South Dakota with a biology degree. I've been a South Dakotan all my life, but am moving to Peoria, IL next week. I got a job there as the assistant digital editor of hunting for Outdoor Sportsman Group. We own the Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel, North American Whitetail, Petersen's Bowhunting, Petersen's Hunting, Bowhunter, etc. This will be my most hectic fall of hunting in a long time. I've been working on finding ground around Peoria through Craigslist and lease websites, but so far most of my leads are cold. Maybe things will change when I'm there and knocking on doors in person, but my expectations are low. However, I'll still be driving back to SoDak to hunt this fall. I'll definitely have some opportunities to kill a P&Y deer here, but hunting will be limited. Good luck this fall, fellas.
