Checking in! A bit about myself. My name is Eric, I live in Maine and I'm 26 years old. I go to Illinois for a week in November to bowhunt, and hunt here in Maine pretty hard. It can be real tough going here as our deer herd has taken it hard the last few years. I don't have any cameras out at the moment as they are all on my bear baits, but I plan on getting a couple out in the next week or two.

My name is Erik... I live in Western Massachusetts (5 min from NY line). I will be hunting CT, NY, & MA again this year. I'm 37 and primarily just bowhunt. I do a bit of gun hunting but generally have one of my 2 daughters with me. They are 11 and 9 and love to go with me. My new girlfriend is now shooting the bow and I am going to try to get her and my older daughter their first bear this year.

Now that I'm not in an airport and have time to post....no unicorns or pink ponies will be made into our name. Though, must say it took long enough before a crack was made about it So, little about me. I'm Kristen - hunt in Pennsylvania. This is my fourth year bowhunting, second year in the contest. Last year only had an opportunity at a doe - but I blew it waiting to see what size the buck was behind her. (Yeah, it wasn't a shooter) So, this year I am in for revenge. Have all cameras out - will be checking them here in the next couple weeks to get an idea of what's going on. Our season doesn't open until the first Saturday in October.
CT opens 9/15, NY 10/1, MA 10/20 I believe. Nothing good on cam yet for deer... some monster bears though. I'll be out in Western NY for the 2nd week in November. I have shot some really nice bucks out there over the past several years.
My bow season starts Sept. 12... It's getting so close, I can't stand it. I have 2 decent bucks on camera already that I wouldn't hesitate to shoot, but haven't had anymore pictures of them sense. This will be my first year taking a full week off in November to hunt hard, so hopefully it'll pay off!
