Yesterday I traded in a couple of guns that were my Dad's. I kept all of the guns that had sentimental value but there were 2 that I had bought for him, one was a Browning A bolt for his birthday about 10 years ago. It is nice but it is a .338 that he asked for. I don't ever see the time when I will need something that big. He never even put a scope on it or ever fired it. The second was a Weatherby 300 mag that he had me buy for an uncle 20 years ago. I traded them on a Thompson Center pro hunter 50 cal muzzleloader and a Remington 12 gauge turkey gun with a pistol grip and red dot for my son. After the trade I was supposed to owe about $100. When the lady put the sku's in the register for the guns I traded in they rang them up for more. A lot more, she thought they owed me $738 instead of me owing $100. The little devil sitting on my left shoulder thought SWEET when I first realized what was going on but instead of listing to that little bast*** I told her she made a mistake. Hopefully that pays off with some good Karma and I shoot a big buck with that muzzleloader
Temptation there buddy thanks for sharing you definitely will reap what you sew in this case you sewed a good seed man be blessed you will prosper.
I don't believe in Karma, but I think if you do the right thing then good things will come back to you ;-) I wish you well with those new guns.
Sounds to me like you do kar·ma ˈkärmə/Submit noun (in Hinduism and Buddhism) the sum of a person's actions in this and previous states of existence, viewed as deciding their fate in future existences. informal destiny or fate, following as effect from cause.
I always try to do good deeds but rarely pay attention to the return I get. You also gave that kid a camera after his got stolen. Karma is definitely on your side! Hopefully it pays off this fall.
I am suprised to see you in this thread. I thought you just stuck to important stuff like you can only have one.
Well that stuff is pretty important I'm glad you did what's right, I would've done the same thing......I was only posing the question "is doing what's right considered going above and beyond?".......meaning in this day and time something that would have been considered normal or "expected" say, 50 years ago, is now something deserving of a pat on the back. Kinda says something about the morality of the human race in general huh? .....or possibly the decline of such morals. Anywho, you did good.
