Here's a video of me packing in some of my camera equipment. I've searched for the right kind of bag for about the last 3 seasons and it was always difficult finding something that could hold my camera and pack the muddy camera arm too. I think I've finally found one I can be happy with! And it's under 70 bucks too. Check out the youtube video here https://youtu.be/z0ibUTe-M38 Check out the pack here http://amzn.to/1MnQ79e
Man I'm telling you I'm so excited! It's been such a hassle these previous years taking all my gear to the stand. I bet I've bought 3 different packs or so and none of them worked like this one. This is a game changer for me as everything fits like it should and I've got plenty of room to pack all my other non camera gear.
Thanks for sharing! Looks like a great pack and I will be ordering one as my gear almost matches yours.
That's a nice pack. I have a similar system as that one. Main difference is that my upper backpack can be separated completely from the fanny pack. But, my fanny pack doesn't have the shoulder straps, which would be really nice.
Thanks for sharing, I've been looking for a new pack for this season that will let me carry everything in one pack, and this looks like it will do the trick. Just picked one up!
Sweet bag! Check out this basic canon bag I found at best buy, it works really good. It has great padding, tons of compartments, SD card holding spots etc.....Last year I carried this bag as well as a hunting bag, but this year I am going to try and see if I use just this bag with my camera equipment as well as hunting gear. I think it will get the job done.
Just got my pack in today and I think its gonna work out well. The order things pack and unpack make sense for this bag even though my other bag is bigger. Thanks for the tip.
I got mine in and also think it's going to work out well. I wish it had a handle at the top, every time I reach down to grab it, I'm looking for one because every other pack I've ever had had one. There's one for the fanny pack part of it but not the main compartment. I think I'll rig something up to make my own, this is also what I usually use to hang it up by when I'm in the stand. I also wish it had straps to be able to strap things underneath, this is how I've packed in my heavy clothes in the past with my other packs. But as far as the overall design and layout of the pack, I really like it and its the best I've come across for being able to pack all my hunting gear and filming gear comfortably in one pack.
I'm glad yall like it. I added some foam in the bottom compartment where my camera is going for some extra protection. I can't wait till October to actually pack this thing with all my stuff.
It's also nice how you can expand the storage even more by adding the additional accessory packs that attach in the front. I'm considering picking up the camera one since its only $20 and keeping my camera in there instead of the main compartment of the fanny. http://outdoorz.alpsbrands.com/products/packs/pack-accessories/accessory-camera-pocket
I know it's not the same pack, but I'm using the Sitka tool box to get my gear in this season. I wanna find a case for the camera itself, so I don't have to worry about it getting damaged inside the bag.
