Finally used my 40 yard pin today. This was my best group. The other groups weren't that bad. Some final tweeking and i will be ready. Hoping to shoot out to 60 yards pretty soon. Help tighten up my closer distances.
Nice, I have a pretty similar grouping. I'll have 3 right together and then the 4th on always strays. I think I focus to much on making sure the 4th is with the other 3 and I rush and pull the shot a bit but I'll continue to practice and focus.
Some good shooting. Mines about the same size at 40 when shooting dots but then a 3d deer is a whole other story. This is my group at 30-33 yards on a 3d deer. I can't group as well but I'm working on it.
good job. now ill do i little bragging... check out my girlfriends 30 yard grouping today with the trophy take rest that we mounted last night I have a buddy that started shooting a month before her, and she is 100 times better than him. Lots of practice and having someone help prevent bad form habits makes all the difference
I hear that women are better archers than men. That is some good shooting. Is she hunting as well, or is she just out having fun showing you up? Lol...
she isnt showing me up yet... but i told her that if she gets any better i will have to throw off her center shot a little in the middle of the night so she doesnt, but yes. iv heard the same thing about women and archery. She will be taking her hunter safety course in the next couple months once she gets a little better.
