I typically only take water with me and prefer to get down for a lunch break. On the occasion that I do an all day sit I like natural things like apples or nuts.
water, apple, small bag of nuts and raisins and maybe a sandwich. normally hunt most the day and don't want to have to cut hunting short to grab lunch.
I have a camo water bottle and on all day or morning hunts ill take some pepperoni rolls to eat. Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk 2
I usually drank water anyhow...that's what I always brang too...when I take my kids with me the snacks can get a little crazy lol but they are kids so I don't try to be too hard on them wont them to love it... I aint never eat on the stand myself I come down for my meals
I bring like 10 apples with me and only take like a bite from each than just toss it in the woods and I always seem to have deer by me so I don't think they mind I eat in the stand.
I eat sammiches and candy bars and apples drink water and take naps Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'll anything.... Cold pizza, I bring a Stanley thermos full of coffee. I've brought subway sandwiches with me before too. Just move slow when eating. I'm not worried about the smell, if they smell your food, they smell you too, so even if you weren't eating you'd be busted. Eat drink and be merry... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yea if your that sloppy hunting it may pay to wait till the next day when your better able to concentrate and put in the proper effort.
On evening sits I'll bring a water and maybe an apple. On all day sits I like to bring a bunch of small snacks I find it helps to pass the time, especially in the midday hours!
I always take water for all day sits. I only take food (always peanut butter sandwich) for all day sits when it is cold out. I generally do not take anything with me any other hunts unless it is real hot, I take water.
Thermos of coffee! Especially on any long sits.I usually always bring a snack and something to eat. I like to pack a sandwhich on longer sits as well
My go to is a bottle of water and if I think I'm going to be out for a while I'll pack a sandwich (peanut butter on white bread). Always afraid to consume too much because what goes in has to come out at some point.
