Who's pumped for some Sooner football? BOOMER!!!! With Perine, Mixon and Ross they def have the best running back corps in the nation. The addition of Dede Westbrook will help out Shepard and Neal receiving. Defense looks strong with Alexander, Evans, Stryker, Sanchez, Tapper and Frank Shannon all returning :D So the big question.....who's gonna take the snaps and can they run the "Air Raid" offense?
I think there is only a few of us on the site. I'm excited to see what Dede can do. Also Mark Andrews should be a beast in the receiving game! Baker? T.K? Maybe Cody T. Hopefully whoever it is will be able to complete a pass. I'm headed to the Akron and Tulsa game for sure. Would love to go to Tenn but work isn't going to allow that.
Well looks like you and me will own this thread then Mayfield and Thomas are both nursing sore shoulders......Mayfield looked the best of the three in the spring game, AND he's already ran this style of offense at Tech......But I wouldn't be surprised if Knight doesn't at least start the season. He's streaky but has shown signs of brilliance.....and this short quick pass offense "could" make him look good......
Knowing bob, Knight will probably be starting for sure. Just because he's held the role for a while now. I wouldn't doubt if it's baker by game three though! Practice starts tomorrow so hopefully we'll start to hear some news on the two.

I wish I was able to be there. I was in Norman last year. That was an exciting game. Hopefully they will unleash striker on that vol line again this year. He punished them last year. Should be a good game!
our line is 3 times better now, also Dobbs it not a slow sitting Duck back there like Worley was. It will be a good game I am excited. I will give you one name Derick Barnette. just keep his name in the back of your head. You will see why come game night. I really think our chances of winning the sec east is relying on this game with Ok. If we beat yall we have good momentum heading into confrence play, if we loose not so much momentum. I beleive we have had this game circled on the schedule for awile now.
It all depends on qb play for OU this year. I think tenn is still a few years away from being dominate again. Butch has them heading in the right direction though. I'm going 42-32 OU.
Ou will not score 42 points on vols defense. Ou may win, but 20 points will be the magic number. I do think we are young, not a few years away, but only 1 year away.

Ahh, we have been tearing smallies up on the rivers. Actually taking the kayaks up monday morning and doing a six mile back to paytons place. Should be alot of fun.
