We will see how it goes. Seems like every year I go down there, pull cameras and fill feeders once or twice a month. And I get a good buck on camera and get all boner-rific about him, and then never see him. So this year Im trying something new, Im not going to go down there until about a month before season, gonna see if my cameras are still there, and if my stands are there. And then I won't be back down until the rut. Going to try this route this time lol.

I doubt you going in has anything to do with not seeing a nice buck during season but good luck on the new strategy.

Don't know how you do it.. I count down the days until bow season. (58 days) All year is hunting season for me between camera's stands feeders and scouting hunting lands. When Oct 1st gets here I will be out the 1st afternoon and will be out every afternoon between my 3 hunting lands for the 1st week. I hunt at least 3x a week for the whole season. No way I could wait until RUT. During rut here I do all day sit's 3x a week or more.

That strategy actually works here in MI where pressure is high.
