Got my ladder in today at the food plot needless to say it was alot easier getting it in always is lol!!! So far so good only thing left to do is disc it up and put some peas and sweet potatoes in. Its a great spot between bedding an food plus a small creek. I'd say its semi done cut a good lane just off the trail so high hopes for the spot I harvested plenty doe an there is a buck or two in there that I haven't had an opportunity at so maybe its my time. Here is some before an after pics to give a glimpse into today's work. The deer funnel in from behind go out to feed an well you guys know the rest.
Cant wait to share I hope somebody who is just starting out in bowhunting or hunting period can gain a lil bit from this also man people need to know what a great lifestyle choice it really is. My main factor this year is stand placement. I've hunted here for the better part of 4 years each time on at a different direction with different wind variables and conditions I also have a homemade groundblind I can use on this plot need be its on the southside of the plot. This particular stand is on the Northeast corner where deer funnel in and out either coming in to bed or going back out to feed. In the picture the last picture u can clearly see the trail just to the left of the stand so everything here is up close an personal, and thats just what bowhunting is all about. "Getting Close"
Honestly now that I really examine there is a trail on each side plus tracks everywhere around the bottom of the ladder going into the field.
