    Last few nights my IR flash hasn't been going off. Is my camera in need of repair or is the illumination from the full moon bright enough to keep the flash from triggering?

    I had the same camera. Within the first week, the IR stopped working, returned it and bought a new one figuring I just got a dud...within a week, the second one did the same thing. The A5's are crap. Return it for a full refund a buy something else.
