Greetings. For fixed, two blade heads or three, in some cases. When using a solid or vented head, which do you think is better, and why? What about arrow speed, i.e. from a re-curve, compound, or crossbow, how would this effect either type of heads? Would there be any difference in accuracy and arrow performance? All opinions and/or facts, appreciated... J.

This is a good question. The only constant difference will be a solid blade design will in theory have greater penetration then the exact same vented design. Why? There is less surface edges to catch or provide friction while going through the target. Ever see pieces of target material sticking to the inside edges of vented blades...

Other than that there really is much difference. Accuracy will always be case dependent from bow to bow and have more to do with the bows tune rather than its speed
