So Tuesday was our 25th wedding anniversary. I got my wife a diamond anniversary band and a few other things. A couple of weeks ago, she walked into my office and asked me for my wedding band. I gave it to her and she simply said, "don't ask any questions." I didn't. I am well trained. That took most of the 25 years and I am still a bit of a work in progress. But, its been an amazing journey. After 25 years of wear, the ring had worn thin and I made the assumption that she was having it repaired and spiffed up a bit. So, on the evening of our anniversary, we went to Des Moines to a very nice French restaurant but allowed a couple hours ahead to relax at a nice watering hole that serves good craft brews. While there, she gave me a small ring box. I opened it and was not the least bit surprised to see my ring tied to what I thought was a note with a piece of ribbon. I untied the ribbon to inspect the ring, nothing changed. Confused, I opened the piece of paper to find a Mathews sticker. Hmmmm........what the heck?! The ring was a clever decoy. This wonderful woman had gone to a Mathews dealer in Des Moines, got a sales rep to help her and then called a great friend of mine and told him to set me up with the best bow and accessories that money can buy, handed the phone to the sales rep and let the two of them figure out the rest. So, now I have a No Cam that is all dressed up and ready to dance! I think I will keep her. Probably keep the wife too.
Apparently the sales rep that can sell any brand he wants, picked out the best bow money can buy. So, there's that. BowTech? Never heard of them.
Sounds like you have a keeper for sure. That's awesome. Congrats on the 25 years of marriage. It's pretty rare these days! Oh and congrats on the new bow as well! It looks really sweet.
