So we are just over a month away from college football. I always think of college ball as the beginning of my favorite time of the year for a variety of reasons. Anyone excited for your teams upcoming season? The fact that Penn State put together a winning season (final record) last year I think is nothing short of amazing. After their recruiting season, I'm really hoping that 2015 is their coming out party. We are gonna know how good Hackenberg really is for sure this year. Anyone else really excited for this year?
One of the things look forward to every fall. Hoping ND stays healthy, but I'm not convinced we won't drop a few games. Don't know what Texas has goin anymore but that might be a good indicator how the season will go opening up with them.
NFL I'm a 49er fan. I'm interested to see how Jim Harbaugh will do at Michigan. Otherwise I'm just hoping for some good football. I'd like to see Oregon do well and maybe a few schools that haven't done so well in the past couple years turn some things around. I'm also interested to see how Mariota and Winston will do. I think Mariota will have the better season.
Let's get it on! The next few weeks are my favorite time of the year as the news cycle shifts hardcore to college football. Every team is still in it, everyone has a ray of hope and you hear all about kids and schemes that by the end of the season will be heroes or goats. Nebraska has a new coach and seemingly a return to values that reflect the state. I don't expect much year one but if they can keep from getting embarrassed on national TV it is a step in the right direction. This year I have a new team to follow as well, very slowly we are warming up to the Buckeyes as we learn more about their culture. There is a lot for me to look forward to going into the fall.
favorite time of year. nothing better than hanging out at camp watchin my MSU bulldogs reach that number 1 spot again.
anxious to see what Nebraska does with their new coach. college football season is my favorite time of year
WOW! SHOTS FIRED!!! haha and what's up with the OTHER OSU (the REAL OSU being The Oklahoma State University) opening against vtech? that's almost as bad a OU v akron /yes, I understand the logic of non-con scheduling, but I don't agree with it.
Hmm...where do I start? V Tech is the only team which beat OSU last year (opening game) V Tech is a respectable program in a power conference Oklahoma State University is opening against the Central Michigan Chippewas
Even he can't polish a turd. A museum is exactly where Michigan belongs. . I'm from Ohio, I'm obligated to say these things. Buckeyes go undefeated and win another championship. Jones/Barrett at QB, Ezekiel Elliot at RB, Miller at WR...it just doesn't get any better than that.
But in all honesty, I think Michigan will really start turning things around. The rivalry is much more interesting when both teams are top 10 schools.
They go undefeated in the regular season, but they do not win another championship. The championship will return back to the SEC this year.
