Anyone else download the new Windows 10? I did because I hated the Windows 8 on my laptop. Hope I like this version better.

I had a message that I couldn't get the upgrade because my graphics driver isn't compatible.

Guess I'm stuck with 8.1 for a while

I usually don't get the new updates until I have to

I've been running Windows 10 in our sandbox since the first available beta. It is a great OS. We are already planning a migration strategy for all of our Windows 7 clients to Windows 10. I currently have 2 physical machines and a handful of virtual machines running build 10240 and it is rock solid. I am so over Windows 8 / 8.1. It was every bit as bad as Windows Me just in a different way.

I just downloaded mine, I can't say I'm impressed with it yet but I'll give it some time. When I opened my pic files, they don't seen to be in the same collapsible/expandable stacked format as in 7 and I don't care for that at all. It worked fine in 7 don't know why they felt compelled to change it.

If you download 10, I'd look at the install choice pretty close, the express install shares all your data with Microsoft if you use it. I did a custom install and unchecked all that crap. Makes me wonder if that wasn't the reason it's "free", like it's more of a data collection ploy than anything else....

Windows 10 is really good, I am running it and it's way faster and Edge is almost a real browser.

Running W10 on my laptop with minimal issues. So far I'm very pleased.

I'm running it on my Surface Pro 1 and it is running flawless. Upgrading was a breeze.

We don't have to decide. It says our Intel graphics media accelerator 3600 is not compatible with W10.

Now if the little symbol down in the corner would just go away.

An IT guy told me it also allowed friends and contacts to share your network automatically. Not so secure if you ask me. But then I guess most users don't question MS.
