Lets see your meat poles. No matter how simple or fancy.

I am thinking about getting crafty and adding a boat winch and pulley to my meat pole. Might be something I do here coming up.

Current state of our cabin' meatpole.

Brad you sicko... I will NOT show you my meatpole!

Really though, I just have a pulley system and gambrel hanging from the rafters in my garage, no "pole".

I knew the perverts would come out of the woodwork. Knew it.

    Lets see your pulley system.

I don't have any pictures of my meat pole, but I use the same thing as these guys. Just the cheapo spreader/pulley system. Works well enough.

That first picture looks like a nice coyote hanging, it's good to thin them out during deer season.

We use a branch at the moment but usually just take them straight to the processor. Until I get the cabin finished, it's not that high on my priority list at the moment.

I also use a simple pulley system set up in my father-in-laws shed. I will probably put one in my house now that I have a garage.

Bought a dual tackle set of pulleys for now. Seen some other set ups I would like to get in time.

I've got a little shed at the new place. There's a pulley system in there that's like 4:1 ratio or something like that. I'm guessing the last owner used to do his deer in there. There's even a old fridge in there but I'm not sure if it works.

What I've got is similar to this but it has two halves and the whole shed is close to 17 feet long and 8 feet wide.

We have an old walk in cooler that my Dad got from a McDonalds when they remodeled. That way we can control the temp. We like to hang our deer for 5-7 days before we butcher them.
