Should I add this buck to my hit list?

Central KS? Pass, wait one more year! Then again I eat tag soup frequently.

If that walked in front of me I'd be shooting. I can see how some may say to pass but it really depends on your hunting goals.

Well, to save the burden of feeling bad about shooting a deer that's too young...... I hereby volunteer to remove said buck from your premises... Just for posterity of course.

    Signed, your friend

That's a question only you can answer. Hunting is personal. Don't worry about what others think. But since you asked, I would shoot him in a heartbeat.

Looks mature to me. I'd shoot him, but then again I don't know what else you have on your property.

I'd pass if it were me but I'm no authority for anyone else. He looks too young to me, for my goals and situational circumstances.

I would pass him for one more year but that could change if he offered me a 20 yard broadside shot.

Once that velvet comes off he will be a different deer not even close to as big as he looks right now. Make your decision then.

I would wait til you see him in person while on stand, then make your decision then. You never know after velvet, he may disappear.

Well that would be the biggest buck taken off the land I hunt in at least 30 years, would be impossible to pass up for me.
