A few of you probably know I put these little videos together for our vacations every year. Nothing amazing (in fact it's mostly GoPro and Samsung S4 footage mixed in with some 70D), but something I want to keep doing mostly for memories.

It's not hunting related, but thought I would share.

Nice work (as usual)! You liking the 70D still?

    Thanks, everyone.

Really liking it. Although this was my first time doing more video with it. I have the two kit STM lenses (18-55 and 55-250), and they're ok, but really want something even more. I love my stills lenses, but they're obviously not the best for video. I didn't take any of my good still lenses with me and just shot with the STM lenses the whole time.

The 18-135mm has been working great for me for filming while bowhunting. No need for a further zoom where I'm at. On the photo side, I'd love to add more glass on either end.

I did just get the 50mm STM. The extra speed (f1.8) will be nice at down & dusk. I still might eventually pony up for the 1.4, but figured at $120, the STM was worth a try. It's not as smooth as my 18-135mm is for focusing. Or as quiet.
