Current property I hunt does not have many trees to put a tree stand in... many pines and very small scrub trees. Looking to purchase a blind for bowhunting (tall enough and deep enough to draw) but also will withstand wind and a snow load, I plan on leaving the blind in place until late November when heavy snow is possible. Budget is $100-$200.... I have seen and read about the Ameristep Bone Collector blind and Primos models. Any suggestions? Also - has anyone ever tried the Cabelas/Gander Mtn. brand? For the size and design of the blind they seem the least expensive, but I question the quality. Thanks!
Barronett Big Mike, plenty of room to stand and shoot any direction. Good price and pretty well made. Has the slots for brush and is easy to pack/un-pack. Only downfall, it's a big blind.
My primos club is holding up good. I got it for $80 so I couldn't pass it up. It's just the right size for me.
I got the blackout.... big enough for 2, ya can stand in it...but not shoot standing... holds up well in the wind... doesn't snow here so can't tell ya, but I'd say it would hold a few inches no problem
Primos XXL or barronett grounder 250 for that price range. Sent from my ASUS PadFone X using Tapatalk
I've read some negative reviews about Rhino's recent customer service on other archery sites. I like their blinds but customer service is important if you have a problem.
Yep! What he said!!! Sam, did your last Rhino you bought have a zipper-less door? Its the cats meow! Let me know if you want to buy one. I'll save you $40!
I broke 3 rods at the beginning of turkey season this year. They sent me as many as they could stuff in a tube for like $8. I've used their CS 3 or so times in the last couple years and haven't had any issues. Maybe I have just been lucky!
I have used their CS and it was top notch. The carrying bag tore on me. I called and left a voicemail about it. He asked me for my address and sent one UPS 2 days later. He called back a few days later and asked did I get the new bag and said if I ever need anything else for it, to just give him a call. He also mentioned that all of the HME ground blind accessories were designed using the Rhino groundblind. I bought a couple and sure enough they work really well with it.
As we all know that a perfect hunting equipment is important for the hunters to carry out a safe and successful hunting. As a hunter, I would like to prefer the hunting equipment of Safford Sporting Goods. For this, I had got the best experience for this.
