It has been a while since I have logged on to the ol bowhunting forum. Sorry its been so long but its great to be back!
anyways have any of you guys ever had something called pear honey? I picked some pears the other day and a woman told me to try to make pear honey. I am not a big fan of pears but we will see how it goes. I have it simmering now. It sure makes the house smell great!

Again its great to be back and I am counting down the days til oct. 1st.

Well turns out I read wrong and added double the sugar:lol:. So tonight I added peaches and cooked the whole shebang again. So now I have 30 jars of the stuff!! Hopefully it turns out tasting good.

Pear honey is generally better than the pears, don't know how it'll turn out with peaches or considering it was made by an inexperienced cook. :poke:

    I bet it's tasty though.
