I recently bought the hawk helium climbing sticks and so far they are performing very well. I'm just wondering what the best stand would be to pair with the steps. I'm looking for lightweight and easy to hang. I hunt private ground, but I want the ability to pack in a long ways as I hunt large properties and routinely walk between 1/2 and a mile with my stand on my back.

I am partial to Lone Wolf but there a lot of good stands out. I use a LW Assault and LW 4 sticks for a mobile set up on public land (hang and hunt each day). Couple with my LW handclimber I do not have to pick a spot based on the tree.

You can use a hook like the LW EZ hang and do what Heckler does and make a sturdy loop for any stand you like. Hang it from the EZ hang hook, then strap it up. Easy and pretty quiet. I love the EZ hang, I use mine all the time with my Assault.

Been using Rapid Rails since the 90's , love them ... and combined with a millennium m100 lock on makes it even better .

I'm really thinking hard about getting one of the millenium stands. I keep seeing the camlock receiver mount, but where can I find the piece that slides into the mount? I'm not seeing it anywhere. Maybe I'm just overlooking something.

The piece you slide in, is the stand it self.

I have been using Lone Wolf for 3 years. This year I bought a Millenium 100U and it blows the Lone Wolf out of the water if you ask me. I will be selling my Lone Wolf. I have hung 6 different cams so far and I only have 1 stand. 11 pounds is all it weighs. very easy to pack in and out everyday.

Ok, thanks. I was wondering if that's what it was, I just couldn't really tell from the pics I've been looking at.
