I have seen some of the awesome wraps and got on the one stringer web page, when they mail you the wraps are they easy to install your self and I assume you have to have it re fletched? Sorry may be a dumb question but would like to order some if possible. Thanks

Yes you need to put them on with the bare shaft then refletch your arrows.

Very easy to do. They even always send a couple extras in case you mess up. Mindy is great at helping with designs if you want something you don't see on the site also.

If you want just a solid color, go to your local sign and decal shop and they will give you scraps.

Very easy to put on. I use an old mouse pad upside down where it has the rubbery gripping side up. It helps hold the wrap in place as you begin to roll it onto the arrow shaft. Just line up the ends and the side of the shaft to the wrap and with a little pressure slowly roll the shaft over the wrap. This helps insure you don't get air bubbles and it goes on smooth. I use rubbing alcohol on the shafts before doing this, just wipe them down and let dry good by hanging off the table edge. Then when putting the wrap on I try not to touch the area on the shaft where it goes, even when rolling it on. One thing I do is start my first cock vane right over the seam. The glue helps seal the wrap and keep it from shifting during the summer heat, which it definitely can do.

The bad thing about this is it makes the wraps much harder to remove. A few years ago I started making certain I do NOT glue a vane over the seam and when it's time to refletch I can peel the wrap and vanes without scraping. I shoot a lot and have never had a Onestringer wrap lift up or peel when not gluing over the seam.

Interesting. I've had a couple brands do the same thing, even Onestringer's. Not sure what you do to remove your wraps but I use a blow dryer and heat it up and it always comes off easily.

I wish someone offered custom QuickFletch where I could customize the wrap and the vanes. It would solve all the hassle of refletching, using a jig, glue, etc., etc.,... 10 seconds and done.

Yes it is easy to do. I use a phone book or mouse pad to do mine.

I was very unhappy with the custom arrow wraps i received from arrowraps.com very low quality. within a couple days the print started to wear off. and i had to coat the lap in glue to keep it together.

I'd try OneStringer. I like their stuff and they are very easy to work with but I just suck at putting vanes on. Wraps are pretty easy, just line them up and roll it on like a rolling pin. They also have the double coating to prevent the issues you had with the print wearing off.
