Bought a few things on craigslist today. Got this all in the same package. The drag in the last photo is homemade.

Don't know much about the disc. I do know that I do not want to pay $240 to rent a tractor with a pto tiller again, so I go this.

Do you know anything about the use of ATV discs?

Would you use that homemade drag or a yard roller to cultipack the seedbed?

I know nothing about those disc, but they look good. Maybe add some weight if need be?

I've used cut down pine trees to drag seed in, so I'd say that would work.

ATV disc should work with multiple passes but it won't be like it was tilled. For cultipacking I just drive on the seed bed with my tractor.

It all depends on your soil type, moisture, and grass/weeds. I used to use an atv disc like that when I worked for MDC and it worked very well if there was a little moisture and spraying had already killed everything. In rocky soil the only thing that I use any more is a cultivator. Like Greg stated, it won't be like tilling, but it should get the job done for you.

Like jake said these work but the ground has to be cleaned already meaning no weeds (spray first always anyway) and wait for a little rain to soften the ground I've used one similar to this and they work. The flip over type suck because they have no weight. But these are heavier and dig better. They will get it done!

Neighbor has that disc. He added alot of weight and has some rocky soil.

I agree with the other Jake.
