What works best for you using your gopro while on stand? Tips and tricks for getting clear field of view while shooting etc appreciated. Photos of how you mount or wear the cam would also be great. Any tips you have to share are welcome, looking to see if I can shorten the learning curve some. I bought the head strap and quick clip hat mount, plus some other random mounts package (tripod etc). That's the stuff I currently have to work with but I am willing to look at other options if there is something better out there.
I haven't done it yet but I was going to build a mount from a spring clamp that the gopro could go on. That way I could quickly clamp it to a branch, stand, pack or whatever. I thought that would be best, rather then carrying a handful of mounts with me.
I don't wear it. I put a bow hanger behind and above my right shoulder. I use the Muddy Micro Mount to adjust the FOV.
