I (we) would like to hear your favorite salsa recipes whether it involves tomatoes, peaches, etc... as the main ingredient. How much, what kind, do you like it sweet or spicy, do you like to eat it as is, with chips, on tacos or marinate chicken? Personally, 8-10 Roma tomatoes diced 1 large red onion diced 3-4 jalapenos chopped fine 1/2 head of cilantro (1 head considered a bundle from the store) chopped fine 1 whole lime squeezed Kosher salt to taste Fresh ground pepper to taste 1/4 cup of vinegar
I've only made salsa once and it was more of an experiment by throwing in a bunch of different peppers and stuff. I used habaneros because I like it spicy. I've tried a mango salsa before and it was really good. I'm going to try this recipe and if I remember I'll tell you how it is.
