I frequent several forums in the Midwest and have started these threads on a couple of those forums. They seem to be very popular so I thought I'd give it a go here. To qualify for the "700 Club", you simply take the GROSS B&C/P&Y scores of your top (5) bucks, add them together and if they reach the magical 700" mark, you qualify! If you qualify please post pics of the bucks that get you to 700" for the rest of us to admire. I'm at around 682ish" so I'm a P&Y away from making it. I'm also trying to break 700" all from the same 11 acre parcel that I hunt near my home in Mid Michigan. To date I have a 160.5", 158", 139.5", 119.5, and 105" for my top 5. I know there are several exceptional hunters on these forums from some very productive parts of the whitetail's range, so this should be fun to follow and to update each year as more hunters qualify.
Im at 515 with a 155, 128, 117 and 112. So, I need to shot a 185 to make it. I don't have pictures with me currently. My Dad is at 653 with his net scores. 146, 138, 125, 124 and 120.
You're young and way ahead of the curve! LOL I know a 185 would get you there with just 1 more deer, but a couple more 150"ers would do it as well.
Yeah, my overall 7 have me near 900....someone like Cole (iHunt) probably can say yes just from the last 3 seasons....hate those Kansas (and Iowa for that matter) boys haha! Yes, that is jealous spelled h-a-t-e
OH geesh didn't read the whole OP....my top 5 put me right around 630/650 (all bow)....guess I need to kill RD and push that over the 700 :D
My top 5 falls between 770 and 780. I dont remember the exact score off the top of my head of two of them. All are from archery. EDITED to add photos. 2012 2009 2013 2010 2004 (poor field photos of this one)
You started the thread with no pictures Would like to see those Michigan bucks cause you sir have a honey hole for 11 acres.
Sorry. This violates the thread rules but hey.... 2010 archery 205# fd 119.5 gross P&Y 2006 shotgun 158" gross B&C 2011 archery 139.5" P&Y (Favorite to date) 2008 shotgun 160.5 B&C (best to date) This buck was the one I was targeting in 2014. I gave my BIL choice of 2 stands that were appropriate for the wind on Nov. 2nd and he made the most of it. Grossed over 145" P&Y All of these bucks were killed since 2006 on an 11 acre parcel within my neighborhood QDM Cooperative started in 2001. Had I killed the last buck he would have put me over 700" but as it turned out I couldn't be happier for my BIL who is my best friend. This "honey hole" came with hard work and sacrifice, but then again...the best things in life do.
