Is there a such thing. The current one I have needs to be moved and is too big. What do you guys think?
I think g5 is the way to go since they make top quality stuff. I have a 3/16" meta peep since you can get it in green but I like the titanium peep also.
Two of the better Peep sights are viper peep sights And hot shots Accu peep Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Never heard of a peep sight being too big. I use a 1/4" peep that completely centers the sight ring when I aim. I would get a metal peep no matter what you get. Plastic breaks.
Fletcher Tru-Peep works as good as anything...I normally use a Fletcher, RAD, or G5...No real difference in any of those.
I have never had a plastic peep break in 30 years of shooting bows. I use Pine Ridge peeps a lot and they are plastic. I am currently using a RAD peep which is aluminum but I won't hesitate to use Pine Ride peeps.
Never used the Pine Ridge peeps. I went through a couple of PSE Mongoose peeps last month, all of them broke where the tubing connects to the post. These were self aligned peeps however, I wouldn't think a tubeless peep could break since there's nothing interfering with it.
I like the fletcher and the rad. Heard too much about the meta peeps cutting strings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks guys. I've always shot plastic peeps and prefer tubeless. I was thinking a metal/ aluminum peep was what I was going to get.
I remember reading that now. Yes I only use tubeless peep sights so that probably explains it. I have honestly only ever had one bow with a tubed peep and the tubing broke at the cable and hit me in the eye and that was the last tubed peep I ever used LOL.
Although I'm not too picky about peep sight brand in general, I can't stand tubed peeps. G5 and Clearshot Archery both make the best tubeless peep sights in my opinion.
I personally shoot the RAD Super Duece 3/16". I have never had one cut a string on my bows, unlike some of the other company's. The biggest peep advice is always a metal one though, plastics degrade and can become oval shaped. Good luck on your search! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
RAD Super Deuce is my favorite. I can't see well through a Fletcher. No idea why, just can't I had a G5 crush once.
I've had several Rad superdeuce which are fine and theyre cheap, but right now I have a 1/4" G5 titanium and its the best ive had sight picture wise. They have a rep for cutting strings, but I think that's from misuse tying them in too tight with the knots too close to the peep creating a steep angle.
