Hi, I'm just looking for some input on your favorite target. I shoot the chill x and I was blowing threw the target last year and I'm tired of looking for arrows so just wanted to see what some of you would recommend. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
I agree with the guys above. I've heard great things about the Rinehart 18-1. I think it has a pretty good warranty too.
Rinehart 18+1......you wont need another target!! They have their warranty and I would bet the same thing!!!!
I have a 18:1 and I wont get another, very disappointed. After shooting it some (barely broke in) I can barely get the BHs out. The arrow easily moves in/out 4-5". I have to pull so hard to get the arrow out I am afraid of pulling out the insert. I called Rinehart and the guy I talked to new exactly what the issue is. The core (inside) is all cut up and pieces are getting caught behind the blades. Not covered under warranty. The outside looks like it is barely used (1/2 the spots never shot)...the inside is junk. I will try a different brand.
I totally agree with Whitetail regarding the Rinehear18:1. I purchased one last year and I most say that for field tips is great, but when it comes to broadheads that's another story. I use G5 pre season broadheads after a week of shooting the inner core is completely destroyed and no matter which side I will shoot the arrow will blow righ through it. That's my personal opinion, I will probably try a crossbow target next since I have spend a small fortune on regular archery targets.
Have any of you tried the Neverwear target with the soft clay core? Someone mentioned it to me, but I can't find anything but what is on their website. It looks really nice. You just pound out the clay core and it's as good as new.
