Anyone found a way to do this? There are a lot of times I'd love to view pics while in the way to a treestand and don't want to carry an iPad or laptop. Any ideas?
How does the galaxy work with an sd card? Does it have a place for it? I am due for a new phone this month and have been interested in the galaxy.
Check out an Airstash. Fitz uses one, got the idea from one of his post last year. Works great with my iPad, and Samsung Galaxy. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CT0BWHE?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00
Pop the back cover off and slide a mini sd card in the slot. I buy all mini sd cards with the full sized adapter so I can view all my pictures on my phone.
I think the small one is the micro sd but its what I use for everything and I just carry my old htc phone in and pop it in the slot. Then the go pro takes the micro sd cards too and you can put it in the adapter for anything that just takes the regular cards.

I just saw a little contraption in the sportsmans guide catalog I got. It plugs into your phone and reads your sd cards. Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk 2
That's odd. If you put the micro sd in the standard sized adapter, it should be no different than a regular sd card. I've never had any problems with them.
This looks tempting... Another thing to carry to field however. http://www.gsmoutdoors.com/shopping/stealth-cam/accessories/stc-crv43.aspx
I did this for awhile, however you can't view the images larger than thumbnail size direct from the SD card. You have to transfer them to your iPad in order to zoom in. It's a PITA to transfer them all, sort through them, then delete the ones you don't want. On a 1,000 picture pull there's usually a dozen or so images worth keeping. Deleting the rest on an iPad is about as much fun as watching water polo. I typically carry my laptop in the truck and check photos that way. If I need to look at something in the field just to make sure the camera is working or positioned correctly I'll be testing out the new Stealth Cam viewer and leaving the iPad at home where my son can watch Paw Patrol and smear food all over it.
This works ok for an iPhone. http://www.macworld.com/article/2362249/kingston-mobilelite-wireless-review-sd-card-reader-for-your-ipad-or-iphone.html
I have something similar to this but made by moultrie. I have had it for a couple years works good I just put 32GB card in it and just transfer and then delete the images off of the card from the trail camera and put the card back in the camera. The one draw back is that it takes about 1 minute to do 100 pics taken at 10 MP and obviously less for less MP pictures. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sportsman guide has a few cheap sd card readers. I have never used them so I can't say how well they work because I use my old Samsung s3 phone and just put the microcard in. They also have this for iphone but cost $ 80. I rather get the sd card reader for $ 50. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/product/index/whitetailr-wi-fi-phonereadr?a=1860030. But SG has a few different card readers under $100
I bring a regular camera with me into the field and the SD card goes right into it for my viewing pleasure. If you have a micro SD card then get micro SD adapter. After all I usually have a camera with anyways even though my phone takes good pictures to.
