I took delivery of my new to me jd 7000 2-row planter on Friday. It has bean meters and corn meters. I spent Saturday morning going over it and lubing it as I will not use it until next spring. Since I started food plotting 6 years ago, I've always wanted one of these.
Depends on a lot of things as we are finding out. Looks like if we have everything set right on the planter and good soil conditions we can get down to 1.5" but if something isn't right or it's hard soil I have seen .5" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It's probably because of the short stature of that garden tractor's 3-point. You could build a quick hitch adapter and change that pitch. (if needed)
If anyone is looking for a planter like that I build them in Wisconsin and will shop all over the states.
