Help with new eberlestock tailhook pack

Hello,

I recently purchased the G29 Tailhook pack and I am having problems attaching a bow to it. I am obviously doing something wrong but I can't figure it out. The strap is way too loose to hold the bow even close to secure. Here are some photos of my problem. Advice on this setup is greatly appreciated.

 

I know nothing about that pack and I will speculate most won't. I'd make a call to the manufacturer.

 

The pictures aren't very clear as to what is going on but it looks like the straps aren't tight enough. It would be nice to see a picture of the pack with and without the bow on it.
