Was wondering if anybody knew any simple waysto make a PVC pipe deer feeder squirrel and coon proof. The squirrels and coons at our place just went though 3 gallons of corn in three days.

Squirrel and coon proof? Nope but I can make it Squirrel and raccoon resistant.

Go to your favorite home improvement store and find joist nail plates or maybe they are refereed to as hangers. Mount them with a hose clamps upside down. They are sharp and neither the coons or squirrels will like them.

Interesting idea. The squirrels never bother mine to much but those dang coons. It never ends!

Hang it from with fishing line or thin steel cable to high for coons and hogs to reach but easy for deer to "bump" and drop feed.
