Ok so I recently got a Mac book and haven't really got around to organizing my 2014 season trail cam photos. Ive been playing around with it and I just can't seem to figure this out. I need help with taking pictures from the SD card, putting the good pics into folders, and then deleting all the photos off the SD card and deleting the bad photos off of iPhoto. Any help Will be great! I posted similar thing in trail cam section but I feel I will get more help here!
Dumb question has you put the card in? Have you tried plugging the camera into the book with a cord rather than the SD card? Is there any indication of action or a message when you put the chip in?
I have had the best luck with running the cord from the camera to the book rather than the chip, the camera will give you an indication if the info is being sent.
Well I gave my buddy a call that runs a mac also and had me go in and change a setting that was declining access to the card! From here on its just getting around the learning curve of mac!
Hey Wisco, what settings did he have you change? Ever since I did the update for my Macbook it stopped reading the SD card
Try plugging in your cam via USB cord while keeping the SD card in the cam ,your Mac should automatically open a new file and you can delete/organize photos on their.Hope this helps
What seems to be the most time efficient for me on my mac is. I have the viewing program that automatically opens when I plug my sd card it. It is set to automatically upload all pictures to my trail cam folder Into a numbered folder, and then clear my sd card. The. When that's all done. I just open all my pictures in the default views. And just go down the list and hit delete on the pics I dot want. Super easy
