Got some 330's to try, wanted to get a higher FOC and not add too much weight to the system as a whole. Total arrow weight is 400 grs with a 16% FOC using a 50 gr brass insert and 100 gr FP. Arrow chronos at 305 fps and really like the downrange results I'm getting.

    Good arrow.

I have to admit... I've like my FMJ's - but I've kinda' been drooling over these arrows for the past few months. I'm half tempted to purchase 1/2 dozen and try 'em.

That's a solid set up that will perform heavier then they are.... If you can get away with the spine add even more weight up front and compare you down range results.

If you don't mind me asking, what bow are you shooting those out of getting 305fps?
    Draw length and draw weight?
I'm shooting one of those bows in your signature this year and was debating on going with the Hexx as well!

My Nitrum 30 set at 72 lbs with a 29" draw, 28" arrow (the Carbon Spyder would get the same), surprised me - thought I'd be getting around 290 until I checked it. I get the same speed out of the turbo but with a 430 gr arrow (Easton Axis).

Without getting lost and misguided in all the physics - you can really hear the arrow smack the target. I do believe I will be ordering another dozen...

Okay... bought 3 of them today to try out. I have a Trophy Ridge React sight, but I cannot use the full range of it because the lowest pin 'bottoms out' with my current setup. Hopefully these arrows (with the increase in speed) will correct that.

    UPDATE:
    Drawing 42#'s [Bicipital Tendinitis, left shoulder] 329 grains / 15.5% FOC / 253.6 fps / 46.9 KE / .370 Momentum

Adjusted REACT to Hexx arrows, 20 & 30 yards (lowest pin DID NOT bottom out! Yippee). Stepped back to 40 and shot 3. This is the result. Daily practice from now on...

considering shooting these out of my nitrum turbo, would the 330's spine be enough at 70 + lbs. and 30 inch DL? would love to shoot 100 grain head with brass insert. 30 inch arrow.
