I live in Texas where baiting is allowed. I use a spintech feeder because varmint and hogs have figured out ways to get to my corn and this feeder has eliminated that problem. I do ask though. If you could bait in your state would you? I know this topic can be somewhat heated...

Legal where I live. I use corn with a feeder, food plots, and a salt block or two.

I have hunted over bait in Wisconsin, hard to call it an advantage when 100's of corn piles pop up in an area.

Depends on the situation....if I'm after a specific big buck probably not, to shoot a few does...maybe

It's legal here and I bait. I use a moultrie feeders. I like the idea of those feeders but BOY are they pricey! I can buy a good farm truck for that price.

I most likely would some but not always, we never see the same deer twice around here and they can find food anywhere they want around here so the chance of me picking the right spot has proven very slim. It would get expensive though so I feel like I would throw corn or something out in the early season in hopes of getting a buck with a bow but during rifle and everything I probably wouldn't as often.

It's legal in Ohio but I don't. I feed them year round and may hunt a honey hole food plot that I've planted but not over a dumped bait pile or over mineral. I don't mind if people do if it's legal so long as they don't try to hide it.

We have one stand with a feeder. Mostly hunt over our food plot stands. It's nice to shoot some does out of. But we use it more for inventory and watch what deer come through our property. However I personally see no difference between a pile of corn and a food plot.

How? It was put there by man with the sole intention of drawing in deer to be shot. It is not hunting over a natural food source.

I think I might to a certain extent. At my folks house, real small area, where I'm allowed to hunt I would be more inclined to put a feeder out and keep it stocked. Chances are only for doe's small bucks. Freezer packing stuff, not wall hanging, even then it's not a guarantee at bow range. Then comes the having to keep the feeder running/full/away from the varmits and other non-preferred critters. If I did it would probably only be sporadically. The time and money it takes to put a feeder up, keep it filled I'd probably be better off with a food plot.

Not legal here. Early season I use a mineral block but it doesn't work as good as a food plot does if I can plant one. I plan on planting one in early August.

I feed deer and continue to feed the deer thru early season. I pull the food and take down the fences mid October. Does it attract deer not sure? I move the cameras to the food plot from the feed sites and get pictures of the same deer that were at the feeder. The deer still show up roughly the same time.
