Hey all, I was wondering if there was room on someone's team for an extra? I'm not a pro but I'll kill something lol!!! Never been on a team before.... But I'm game!
If you are referring to the Bowhunting teams for this fall there should be signups in the next couple months. I'm not sure if they have certain requirements or not but once they're available you'll be able to ask questions. A requirement I think they've had in the past is like a minimum of 25 posts or something.
Yep, get that post count up a bit by contributing to some threads. Then sign up and they randomly draw all the teams. The only team that stays together is the defending chumps
Im always seeing team names in everyone's signature, but can I ask what the teams are for and how it all works? This is my first year being on the forum so I'm still learning what everything is about! Thanks!
Most are from the 2014 Deer contest. Sign ups will be sometime this summer. They will draw teams. Last years winning team will remain the same for 2015. Sent from my XT830C
Each year, usually in July there is a sign up thread. They leave it open a few weeks for people to sign up chasing BH.com immortality. They then randomly (so THEY say, randomly) choose 10 people per team. Each team then creates a team thread and name their team, something like Team Bownanas, The Baby Buck Ballers, Late in - Early Out Archers, Team Justin's Sack Ridaz... Etc... Etc. Bucks gross antler score counts as the point total and does are worth 50 point to appease those who feel left out. It's fun if you don't end up on a dud roster filled with a bunch of mutes. It's all about having fun says the masses, but really it is about ball tagging all the other teams with a monster buck. Good luck to you sir, ball tagging the competition if you decide to type your name on the dotted line.
I too haven't had the opportunity to be on a deer hunting team yet. looking forward to it. was on a great turkey team and had fun watching the shed hunters. it will definitely be a good time.
I've read through some of 14' threads. Looks like good clean fun. Keeping in contact with everyone through out the season. Can't wait, Jimmy.
The deer contest is a lot of fun. I was a good team that was active and it was a good time. The turkey team I was on only had a few guys actively post and it felt like I was talking to myself at times .
