Midget? Or super early fawn?

    I have not been at this camera game for to long now....But I have been hunting for a while, and I have never seen a fawn that lost its spots this early in the summer...thoughts?

    I know that it is a buck there with it, just seems like an awfully small doe i guess

    I guess it could be, I have just never noticed a size differential quite that big the following summer but I am no expert.

    You've heard how there is a 2nd rut. What if that was a doe bown last year late from the 2nd rut and that's why she is smaller?

    she was probally born in late winter early spring and is developed past the fawn stage but hasnt grown in height yet.
