After our very own Rickmur lost his life recently and Tom's Dad passing, I was filled with many thoughts this Father's Day and thought I would post my prayer this morning.... Prayers to all of you that have lost your Dad since the last Father's Day .... Praying that The Lord would comfort you during this day that was once a celebration and is now a day of sadness. Prayers for all of you that have not had your Dad in years. Thankful for the memories you have had with him and praying for the Lord's comfort to you as well. Prayers for all of you that have never knew your Dad or had one that was evil. Praying that you have found comfort in all those around you that love you and those that have "filled in" as an example and a role model. Mostly, praise to our Heavenly Father who holds our very breath in His hand and keeps all of our tears in a bottle. The one who sent his only Son who knew no sin to become sin so that He could take our punishment and allow us to be joined with Him for eternity. Happy Father's Day, Everyone!
