I started getting pics of a buck I know from last year. I started calling him Tex because his rack comes out wide and flat on his head, and he has a huge bullish body for his age...reminding me of a Texas longhorn steer. Here are a couple pics from last year at 3 years old

And his progress so far this year. I don't think he has the genetics to grow a huge rack, but he's 4 years old so he will probably not get a pass from me

Look at that gut! He looks like a pretty mature buck and I would definitely let an arrow fly his way.

He's definitely got some age. Be interesting to see what he becomes.

He looks good. He reminds me a lot of a buck that is high on my list. Wide, short tined, and mature. Good luck with him!

I had a buck like that few years back on came we called wide 8, he had short tines like that buck was at least 18-20in inside. Think the neighbors killed him 2 years ago. wide 8.jpg

I have a couple pics I'm pretty sure are him. Only one of the last 4 years has he summered in our main bedding areas over there...come Mid-Late August is usually when he begins coming around very consistently. Hoping to make it happen!
